Sun Lakes Republican Club November 2025 Meeting

The Sun Lakes Republican Club will feature “Candidates for Arizona Governor”, with speakers Congressman Andy Biggs and Karrin Taylor Robson, at its regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, November 12th, at 6:30 p.m. in the Navajo Room of the Sun Lakes Country Club, 25601 S. Sun Lakes Blvd., Sun Lakes, AZ 85248. You will also meet the candidates for Arizona Legislative District 13 State Representative: Kevin Hartke, Debra Schinke, and Janet Weninger. The public is invited. Please bring your neighbors! Our mission is “Promoting an Informed Electorate Through Education.” Light desserts will be provided for your enjoyment.
Congressman Biggs is an Arizona native and retired attorney. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Asian studies, a M.A. in political science from ASU, and a J.D. from University of AZ. Andy served in the Arizona legislature for fourteen years and was first elected to the AZ House of Representatives before being elected to serve in the AZ Senate where he chaired the Appropriations Committee and was the Vice- Chairman of the Government Reform and Judiciary Committees. In 2012, he was chosen to be the Senate President. Andy Biggs was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives and has been serving our Congressional District 5 since 2017. He has served on the House Judiciary and Science, Space, and Technology committees, and was the chairman of the Freedom Caucus for one year.
Congressman Biggs has been designated a Champion of the Taxpayer by Americans for Prosperity, and Guardian of Small Business by NFIB. He has 100% Voting Records from the Arizona Small Business Assn., Arizona Citizens Defense League, and Center for Arizona Policy. He lives in Gilbert with his wife Cindy of 41 years, and they have six children and many grandchildren.
Karrin Taylor Robson is a successful Arizona business executive. She is the Founder and President of Arizona Strategies, a land use strategy firm headquartered in Phoenix. Throughout her career in legal and real estate development, she secured approval for some of the finest master-planned communities and commercial projects. She has served on the boards of numerous community and economic development organizations, including the board of Great Hearts Academies, the Arizona Board of Regents, Creighton University, and the American Council of Trustees and Alumni.
Currently, Karrin serves as a member of the Civic Leaders Group for the Chief of Staff of the United States Air Force. She has worked for conservative organizations as a volunteer, donor, fundraiser, and activist, and serves as the chairwoman of the Arizona PAC, an organization that helped to expand the Republican majorities in both the Arizona House and Senate. She was a 2020 Inductee into the Arizona Women’s Hall of Fame. Karrin is a mother of four, a grandmother and the wife of Ed Robson.
